About Achiltibuie

Achiltibuie is just north of Ullapool and has outstanding scenery and sea views.

The shingle beach below the house is accessed through the garden gate.
There is a magnificent beach 3.5 miles away at Achnahaird and lovely beaches close by at Badentarbet, Badenscallie and Achininver.

There are good facilities in the village, a shop with fuel pump, post office,the Summer Isles Hotel with an excellent restaurant and bar with good bar food. The Fuaran bar in Altandhu just 3 miles away is a great cosy pub which serves local sea food and also a take away service. Booking early is recommended in high season (before you arrive ideally)
There is great trout fishing in the numerous hill lochs around and sea fishing from the shore. Fishing permits on the local lochs can be obtained from Achiltibuie Stores.
Regular boats trips to the Summer Isles leave from the pier at Badentarbet (ring first)
