97 Achiltibuie is a new cottage built on the site of a ruined croft using the original stone and keeping the traditional style. Inside the cottage has a lovely spacious feel with superb views across the sea to Tanera Mor and further away the Dundonnell Mountains and the Torridons.

 The sea is only 150 yards away and with careful observation a lot of wildlife can be seen from the dining table. White Tailed Sea eagles frequently hunt the shore line below the house so you can see these magnificent birds whilst eating your breakfast. Seals, porpoises, dolphins and sometimes even whales can be seen in Badentarbet Bay. Bird life is legion and the sight of gannets diving into the sea still thrills.  Hen Harriers are often seen, buzzards abound and skylarks, wheatears and pied wagtails among others visit the garden.
